Is there anything better than seeing some great films before everyone else? SXSW has some of the best buzzed about movies and numerous showtimes for each film.

Iron Maiden: Flight 666
With their iconic “Eddie” mascot, the world heavy metal gods bought a 757, loaded it with all their gear and traveled the world on tour. This doc follows them on this 2008 journey.

For the love of design.
Objectified
To quote Tyler Durden “The things you own end up owning you.” This movie is not quite about that but more about how designers work and think. Design is a part of everyday life and this film is not just for creatives.
American Violet
Based on true events in 2000, a young woman fights off an unwarranted drug arrest that would forever change the Texas justice system, which is making false arrests to gain more federal money that is rewarded to counties who garner more convections.
Died Young, Stayed Pretty
If you’ve been to a concert in the past 10 years (and seeing that you’re at SXSW, there reason to believe that you have) you might of seen a sweet looking poster to let you know it was happening. This doc by first time director Eileen Yaghoobian take a look at the artists in this art form but also take a look at how design affects the way we see the products/events they push.
